This is not an exercise. There is a very large utilities company called EON. They are legit. But wait for it..there's more. EON apparently buys energy from companies and then resells it cheaper to customers. Not a bad deal,and the prices are pretty good and guaranteed for 3 yrs. But wait...The kind lady rep who will visit your wife during the day, and that is when it happens...will also tell you it's also under the UTAP program so it's tax free also. Great Deal! Deal? Not so much. I checked with KTown UTAP they have no contract. Can't do it. Sooo...that also means if you sign with EON you will also have to pay the deposit on the meters...at Euro 300 a whack. So figure at least two meters if you have gas and electric. With UTAP, the deposit is waived. And there you have it. Carefull out there. 

I'm more worried about the ENORMOUS increase in energy costs since the beginning of the year. Somebody's gotta pay for all those big windmills and the shutdown of economical nuclear power plants, and that'd be we the consumers. Get ready for a shock come late January when the annual reconciliation bills are sent out.
