Anyone have info on trash services that are posted on ramstein yard sales? Which ones are reliable and don't cost a fortune? This is for the ramstein K-town area. Thanks for any reply/advice.

I needed to get rid of my old washer/dryer and I was able to set up an appointment to have them pick it up. It took about 3 weeks but they came. No costs at all 

Also please be warned. some of these trash pick people illegally dump the trash/ If it can be traced back to you there will be a hefty fine plus clean up charges. Make sure they are legit before you let them haul it off. Most times you can call your town hall and the can inform you of where you can dispose of your trash. If it is regular household trash you can purchase the grey bags for 4 euro and they are rather large. 

There is a small dump in Kindsbach and a larger one in Kapiteltal (between KL and Mehlingen) that you can use free of charge; you do have to haul it there yourself. 

You don't have to pay to get trash dumped, you shouldn't be paying anybody to do it.

The ZAK in kaiserslautern is very easy to use and free. They're even open Saturday mornings if you work during the week.

We've also done the bulk pickup and again, it's free of charge. You call in the request, they send a card with your allotted date, and you just make sure everything is outside at that time.

Those people charging for this service are really just preying on the americans who don't know what is available to them for free.
