We are looking for a house near Ramstein. My son will be going to school in Faith Baptist. Any of you pcsing soon? We told our landlord that we will move out by end of August. Please help. We are a family of 5. We will need lots of storage since we do have a lot of stuff. 

Why did you give a date before you had secured a new house?

Good luck, this is a bad time of year to try and find a house with all the n00bs just arriving. We had about 10 families this weekend looking at our house, and tons more emails that we hadn't yet responded to. 

What she said. We got here end of june last year and it took us 52 days to get a house... good luck

You have tried the AHRN website right? IF not its ahrn.com and I think you need to get the logon info from housing, not sure how my husband did that. If you can afford the fee then the kaiserslauternamerican.com website has lots of listings. And the yardsale website has some too. That's how we found the place we are moving to next week. Good luck!!! 

For the record, if the house is not listed in AHRN, they are not required to rent it to you because you were "First".

We encountered somebody like that this weekend. Kind of hilarious, the entitlement.

Thank you all. We are looking at a few houses on Friday. There was a house in Einsiedlerhof that was perfect for us since my son will be going to Faith Baptist but the Landlord offered it to somebody else. Please don't stop helping if you know of any house that will be available. Trying to stay away to paying finders fee.
