I'm still new to K-town and I had some random questions I'm hoping someone can answer.

* For Sky T.V is the only way to order it online and do you have to buy a card with them on top of the monthly subscriptions? Can you buy any dish or RYS for it to work and just pay for the service?

* Where can you get the yellow recycling bags from, are they free?

* Can you cash in the plastic bottles bought from the Commissary or just ones from the Economy.

* Are there any Wedding type stores in the area. I am maid of Honor to someone who is in the States and I want to do something special to make up for the time Im away. Any ideals/thoughts/one of a kind European Gifts?

* Is there a way to view the Telekom site in English?

* What is RTT? I'v seen it a lot when looking for sites for booking flights.

* How easy is it to get a Command Sponsor Letter for Space A (still waiting for my husband to ask at his new unit)

You can buy any dish, you may need a different LNB though. You need to buy a box and a card, unless you get the over the air service, in which case you just need the box. We went through one of the local guys who does all the installation and set up, Joe Satellite, but he's not the only one in the area. Axel I think is no longer doing this, he had some health issues.

You can go to the Rathaus in your village and get them for free.

* Can you cash in the plastic bottles bought from the Commissary or just ones from the Economy.

This I don't know, as we don't. Our netto has one of those machines that you just put the bottles into, but I'm not sure what kind it takes.

This one I don't know as I buy a crapton of baby gifts but usually no wedding gifts, sorry lol.

I just googled "Deutsche Telekom English" and the english site came up.

It's a local on base travel agency. We've gone through them for flights and stuff in the past, sometimes they are cheaper, sometimes not. We've also done a cruise and several tours with them, they were really well done.
